Real cases. Anonymised by default.

Our clients are not named on this page, and that is deliberate — confidentiality is part of what they are paying for. Everything else is real: the sectors, the score movements and the timelines.

Why there are no client names or screenshots here

Most clients would rather not advertise that they needed us — and naming them would put the removed reviews back in front of an audience. Every case below is anonymised by sector and region.

14 competitor-planted reviews removed at the source

THE PROBLEM

Fourteen 1-star reviews appeared across a single week, all from accounts created within days of each other and none with an order history. The phrasing repeated across several of them.

WHAT WE DID

We documented the account-creation pattern, the absence of any verifiable transaction and the linguistic overlap, filed the reports together rather than separately, and escalated once. All fourteen were confirmed offline, in writing.

Five removals took a 36-review profile from “Great” to “Excellent”

THE PROBLEM

A profile with 36 reviews sat at 3.9, held there by five 1-star posts from accounts that had never been clients, two of them making specific claims about the business that were not true.

WHAT WE DID

We built a focused evidence file for each of the five and filed them together. All five came down. On a profile that size, five 1-stars are worth half a star: the score moved from 3.9 to 4.4 and the label from “Great” to “Excellent”.

Consumer warning lifted, with no recurrence

THE PROBLEM

A consumer alert banner appeared above the profile after a burst of reviews the platform flagged as coordinated. The activity had not originated from the business, but the banner was live to every visitor regardless.

WHAT WE DID

We traced the origin of the flagged reviews, evidenced that the business had not solicited or generated them, and worked the platform's remediation route rather than simply disputing the banner. It came down and has not returned since.

Duplicate listing closed, 180 reviews consolidated

THE PROBLEM

The business had two listings: one they had built to 4.7 across 180 reviews, and an older unclaimed duplicate at 2.9 that outranked it in search. New customers were landing on the wrong page.

WHAT WE DID

We evidenced that the older listing duplicated an existing profile for the same trading entity and had been created by a third party. It was closed at source, leaving a single profile carrying the reviews the business had actually earned.

Trustpilot page removed from a brand search

THE PROBLEM

An advisory firm's Trustpilot page, tied to a name it no longer traded under, ranked second for its brand, directly beneath the website. Every prospect running a quick check found it first.

WHAT WE DID

We prepared the case on legal grounds and had the page removed from Google's results. The firm's own site, LinkedIn page and press coverage now fill the first results, and the old page no longer appears for the brand.

Six reviews for a different company, removed

THE PROBLEM

A software business kept receiving 1-star reviews complaining about a product it did not sell. A similarly named company in an adjacent market was the actual subject, but the reviews were landing on the wrong profile.

WHAT WE DID

This is one of the cleanest grounds there is. We evidenced the mismatch between the complaints and the services the business actually provides, and all six were removed. We also flagged the naming collision so the client could raise it separately.
