Removals

Can you actually remove a Trustpilot review?
Yes. Reviews are removed on legal and platform grounds: fake accounts, no real transaction, defamatory claims, harassment, competitor activity, complaints about a different company, and more. Our team identifies the ground that applies and prepares the evidence and files the report; Trustpilot decides.
What grounds do you use?
Whichever ground fits the review. Common ones are: no genuine buying or service experience, the reviewer is a competitor or has an undisclosed conflict, the content is defamatory or abusive, the review concerns a different business, or the same person has posted repeatedly. Where more than one applies, we use the strongest.
Which reviews can be removed?
More than most people expect. If a review is fake, defamatory, abusive, posted by a competitor, aimed at the wrong company or has no real transaction behind it, it is a candidate, and even reviews from real customers can break the rules. Every case is assessed individually, so if you are unsure, send it. The scan is free.
Can a removed review come back?
Confirmed removals are permanent in the overwhelming majority of cases. If the same reviewer posts again, we will assess whether the new post is removable on the same grounds. Optional monthly monitoring flags this kind of repeat activity early.
Do you remove reviews from platforms other than Trustpilot?
Trustpilot is where the majority of our work happens. The same approach applies to other major review platforms, so send the link and we will tell you what can be done.

Warnings and pages

What is a consumer alert and can it be removed?
It is a notice the platform places on a profile warning visitors about something it has identified — commonly suspected review manipulation or misuse of the platform. Alerts are not permanent: they are applied when defined criteria are met and lifted when those criteria no longer apply. The work is identifying the real trigger and resolving it, not just disputing the banner.
Can a Trustpilot profile be removed?
Where Trustpilot's criteria are met, the profile is closed so no new reviews can be posted, and the page can then be submitted to Google for de-indexing. Old brands, duplicates, pages created without authorisation and profiles you simply no longer want are the most common cases, and every page is assessed individually. See our profile closure service.
Can you remove our Trustpilot page from Google without closing it?
Google removes pages from its results in defined cases, such as outdated or removed content and legal grounds; the page itself stays on Trustpilot. It works on its own, or alongside a profile closure. See our Google de-indexing service.
We have two listings for one business. What happens?
Usually we remove the one you did not build, so that your reviews and your search traffic consolidate onto a single profile rather than being split between two.

Process and timing

How long does a removal take?
Our team starts the same day you approve the quote. From there, the timing rests with Trustpilot: the platform usually reaches its decision within 1 to 5 business days, though that is Trustpilot’s timing, not a promise from us. Warning banners and profile closures follow the same rhythm, and removal from Google can take longer. Where a case looks complex we say so in the scan, rather than after you have paid.
What do you need from me?
The public profile link, plus any context you already have — order references, dates, screenshots. That is it. We never need access to your review platform account and we will not ask for your login credentials.
What happens if a report gets rejected?
We escalate at no extra cost where a legitimate route remains. You are paying for removals, not attempts, so a rejection costs you nothing.
How will I know it actually worked?
You get written confirmation with the URL and the date it went offline, and you can verify it yourself on the live profile. The invoice follows that confirmation.

Pricing and terms

What does it cost?
A fixed price per item, quoted before any work starts, varying with complexity. There is no retainer and no setup fee. Most single-review cases sit in the low hundreds of pounds, with better per-item pricing on volume cases. Your scan contains real numbers for your profile.
What does “pay after removal” mean exactly?
You are invoiced after the item is confirmed offline and you have received the verification — not on approval, not on filing. If we remove three items out of five, you pay for three and nothing for the other two.
Is the scan really free?
Yes, and it carries no obligation. You decide afterwards whether to go ahead, with all or with some of the items.
What are your payment terms?
Invoices are due 14 days from the date of the verification email. Full terms are on our terms and conditions page.

Still not sure where you stand?
